Popular Netflix series Stranger Things is officially getting a fourth season thanks to a tease on their official Twitter account and fans can’t get enough already!

Stranger Things is a science-fiction horror web series on Netflix set in the fictional Hawkins, Indiana, in November 1983. It is quite popular amongst Dungeons & Dragons as it features a bunch of D&D easter eggs while the main characters on the series are also seen playing the game on multiple occasions. Adding to that, the series also uses D&D characters to name most of the supernatural foe that  appear on it.

The show completed 3 seasons in July, 2019 and speculations were made about it posssibly being the last one that comes out. However, in their latest tweet, Stranger Things hinted about its fourth season. Here is what they had to say:

It is worth noting that we don't have a set release date for the fourth installment. However, what we do know is that after spending 3 full seasons in Hawkins, Indiana, the show is finally ready to take on other parts of the world. This takes us back to Entertainment Weekly's interview with The Duffer Brothers (producers of Stranger Things) and this is what they said about the fourth season:

Ross Duffer said, “We don’t know a lot, but we do know a lot of the big broad strokes. At the end of season two, we knew about Billy. We knew that the Russians were going to come in. We didn’t know the mall and stuff, but again, we know these big broad strokes. That’s sort of where we are in season four.” To which Matt Duffer added, “I think the biggest thing that’s going to happen is it’s going to open up a little bit, not necessarily in terms of scale, in terms of special effects, but open up in terms of allowing plotlines into areas outside of Hawkins.”

The Duffer Brothers have also signed a multi-year deal with Netflix which gives them rights for both film and TV series. Therefore, fans of Stranger Things can expect the show to continue for a decent amount of time.
