Baldur's Gate 3 has been confirmed to arrive by the end of the year on Windows. Further details were announced at the 2020 New York Toy Fair, where Chris Cocks, the president of Wizards of the Coast, boasted about the game pushing genre boundaries and offering "unparalleled player freedom, high-stake decisions, unique companions, and memorable content."
The game is being developed by Larian Studios, and they revealed that it will be a proper 100-hour RPG. Of course, the mechanics of the game will follow DnD 5e rules. Baldur's Gate 3, which can be played multiplayer or solo, will also be Larian Studio's largest production. Based on the previous installments' success, fans can also expect this one to be the best.
